Rachael

Rachael took a less traditional path to veterinary medicine. She earned a master’s degree in speech pathology, and then an unexpected move to the area more than 10 years ago led her to change careers completely. She decided to follow her heart and use her strengths in a new field, and she hasn’t looked back. For Rachael, the most rewarding part of her job is building real connections with clients and their pets and being someone they can trust and turn to for comfort.

At home, Rachael’s greatest joy is her son, Colton. Their family also includes Buster, a brindle pit mix, and Whitey, an alley cat who chose them. Rachael names her son as her greatest accomplishment, along with having him there to see her get baptized in her thirties. In her free time, she enjoys reading, meditation, and yard work. And if there’s one thing she absolutely loves, it’s penguins!
